Marcella Vail: Empowering People is the Foundation for Organizational Success

Marcella Vail is an experienced corporate leader with success spanning eight different industries. Her passion for successful business operations has always been rooted in her commitment to both the people on her teams and the world beyond the workplace. With this personal mission informing her professional endeavors, it was a natural fit for her to take on an executive leadership position with a non-profit, after many years in private industry. Last fall Marcella stepped into her current role as Chief Operating Officer of ALSO, a non-profit dedicated to the full inclusion of people experiencing disabilities into the life of their community. In this episode, we chat with Marcella about early experiences that shaped her leadership style, the entrepreneurial spirit that she was raised with, and her beautiful thoughts regarding what constitutes a successful hire. It was a privilege and honor to interview Marcella. We know you’ll be inspired by her generous, intelligent insights into leadership, organizational growth, and giving back.
